We always welcome volunteers in the following areas:
- Flower Beds at all tennis centers require regular upkeep. If you've got a green thumb we'd love to hear from you.
- Tennis Instructors are needed for our summer camps and on site after school instructional programs at elementary schools throughout the city. You don't have to be a certified USPTA instructor, you just need to have some basic knowledge and a love for the game as well as a desire to work with children.
- Front desk staff are needed at all centers to provide administrative support, this includes booking court time and making sure the facility is properly maintained.
- Tournaments are held on a monthly basis at the tennis centers. We're always in need of volunteers to take scores, hand out balls etc.
Tennis Memphis is a non profit and relies on the philanthropic investment of the community in order to provide affordable tennis programming. If you're looking for community service hours or just have a little extra time on your hands these opportunities are a great way to give back and have a positive impact on tennis in Memphis. If you're a player, we provide court time to volunteers, this can be negotiated when we speak to you about your position(s) of interest.
