BENEFITS OF PLAYING CARDIO TENNIS
Participants consistently elevate their heart
rates into their aerobic training zone.
It is much more fun than working out on a
machine or other fitness activities.
You get short cycles of high intensity
workouts and periods of rest, almost
like interval training.
It is a fun, group activity where
players of all abilities enjoy tennis together.
While you are playing tennis, the focus
is primarily on getting a great workout.
You naturally improve your game
because you hit so many balls
and repeat various shots.

Leftwich Tennis Center
The center is located at 4145 Southern Avenue, is on the northwest side of Audubon Park and in the middle of East Memphis activity. To the west of the center is the University of Memphis campus. To the east is the Oak Court Mall. Its location near Poplar Avenue makes it convenient to many parts of the City.

There are 8 outdoor courts and 4 indoor courts, so there is a lot of room to play. A
large selection of walk-in clinics, adult leagues and junior programs
are available here, as well as private lessons with certified tennis
professionals. The pro shop offers racquet stringing services and racquets and supplies for sale.
