Community Center Kids Tennis

The Community Center Kids Tennis program, in cooperation with the City of Memphis, Division of Park Services, introduces the sport of tennis to kids at the 26 city community centers.
Community Center Kids Tennis is an after-school instructional league program with 8-week sessions in the Fall and Spring. The program consists of tennis instruction, team league play and league championships. Monthly clinics are held at different centers.
Certified instructors and volunteers deliver the program. All instruction and equipment is provided by Tennis Memphis at no cost to the participants. Transportation is provided by the City of Memphis, Division of Park Services. When transportation is not available, the sessions are held at the community center's gymnasium.
